About this deal
Collects Preacher #34-66, Preacher Special: The Story of You-Know-Who, Preacher Special: The Good Old Boys, Preacher Special: One Man’s War, Preacher: Tall in the Saddle, Absolute Preacher Vol. 2, and Absolute Preacher Vol. 3. The particulars of “Time and the Batman”get quite timey-wimey. If you really want the full ordeal, I recommend the CBH Morrison Batman guide.
A nasty little character study of the Clown Prince of Crime, delivered by the always excellent Brian Azzarello and Lee Bermejo. This gets a little intense. A mad man is targeting Gotham's elite and next on his hit list is millionaire playboy Bruce Wayne. This is Batman's introduction to his most nefarious villain, the Joker. Where Alan Moore's The Killing Joke tells the origin of the Clown Prince of Crime, The Man Who Laughs details the first tussle between Joker and Batman.A few looks at a few DC Comics bigger books scheduled towards the end of the year – and into the following one.
DC Comics is adamant that The Killing Joke remain in Batman continuity, and everything from Arkham Knight to the New 52 have treated this book as sacred text.
Yeah good point Rel. I don't rate DC or GJs, but his GL run isn't bad. I enjoyed it. Just not all of it, but maybe that's because I didn't read all the tie ins (there are so many) so yeah you should buy. You can be my guineas pig :D
