Unfortunately, a small bottle of lubricant is not included. That would have been a welcome addition, particularly for the S models that don’t have the cleaning station. Truly hilarious how Braun manages to complicate this so insanely. OMG! The other, more significant thing is: I’m the chief shaverer over here at ShavingAdvisor and when I am not shaving off any hair I have left, or writing about what I have shaved off – I do a load of other life stuff and enjoy a good cup of tea between doing stuff! So as far as performance is concerned, all the current Series 5 models are identical. Choosing one particular shaver should simply come down to the following factors: In my opinion the Series 5 represents the entry point to Braun’s high quality shavers. That is also reflected by the fact that the Series 5 is very similar to the Series 7 in terms of performance and quality.
The dry only vs wet/dry use is really the only difference, everything else is exactly the same (battery, shaving head, trimmer). One quirk of the 3020s is that you can use it both corded and cordless. It’s a foil type shaver that works in straight and forth passes over the face like other foil type shavers. Before the first use, plug your shaver for recharging the battery and do not unplug it before 2 hours although the battery is already recharged (it will take only 1 hour for a full charge from the next recharge). This process will make your battery healthier and keep the battery duration consistent. After unplugging the shaver be prepared for your shave and start the power button. You’ll easily find the power button at the front of the shaver that is coated with rubber for soft touch use. After starting the power, pass the shaver like other foil shavers. You can use water, foam, gel or soap to have wet and refreshing shaves since all the new generation Series 5 shavers are wet/dry featured. Also, if you plan on buying a Series 5 and you’re on the fence on whether to buy one of the 50** or 51** models, just get the one you can find at a better price.

So after i read this article and the best razor 2021 guide(excellent both articles)i decide to increase the budget a little and go for the “old” series 5. I have more hair in my chin area than my cheek area. Not high density of hair, but I shave almost everyday . I am used to the wet shave (traditional), but you mentioned that Braun series is not recommended for wet shaves.
