About this deal

I’ve never bought gingerbread syrup myself, but I know that Starbucks sell their own version and that Costa use Monin syrups . If you are looking for easy sweet and savoury recipes that are packed with flavour you have come to the right place! This boozy version of a homemade gingerbread latte is everything I crave in a coffee libation – milky, sweet, a not-so-subtle hint of robust coffee and a kick of alcohol. Skinny gingerbread latte– use semi-skimmed and omit whipped cream and sprinkles to make a slightly healthier version of this drink. As with their other products, Monin’s vanilla syrup is suitable for vegan and vegetarian diets, is alcohol-free, Halal and Kosher, and is made from pure sugar syrup with only natural flavourings.

When I think about Christmas, first I think of are Christmas Cookies and any gingerbread flavored goodies (like Gingerbread Ice Cream, Gingerbread Hot Chocolate or Gingerbread French Toast). I’m going to make lattes for my family this weekend, and I’ve already made a couple of cold brews with this syrup!

If you want this without sacrificing flavour (far from it – they are better than most full-bodied versions! That’s why we’ve put this list together – six of our favourite coffee syrups on today’s market and all of them are available for UK coffee guzzling consumers. Normally I like my coffee without too many frills – give me a strong latte or flat white and I am happy.

This two-minute quiz is going to give you the direction you need to start the big, bold room makeovers that you've always wanted to try! Read the package instructions about ratio of sweetener to real sugar – the Sukrin one is same quantity (1:1). Gingerbread is one of the most popular holiday flavors, and I’m always looking for ways to add it to my favorite dishes.Because you will heat the syrup, the whole spices will give off more flavor, thus creating a more delicious syrup. In this recipe we will use that standard water to sugar ratio and add in all of the flavors of gingerbread cookies to make a deliciously spiced simple syrup. How suitable a syrup is for coffee will depend on this final formula – will the sugar dissolve properly in hot water and milk and will the flavour mix well with coffee?

You can use a brown sugar alternative such as Sukrin Gold which contains Stevia or Splenda brown sugar blend. This recipe is also great for use year-round, so you always have different coffee syrup flavors at hand. If you like your coffee on the sweeter side, you might want to add a bit more syrup to make it taste as you want. Gingerbread syrup is made of brown sugar, water, fresh ginger, and whole spices like nutmeg, cinnamon, allspice, and cloves. Without coffee– pour steamed milk over the spiced syrup for a coffee-free, caffeine-free sweet milky treat. If you make a purchase through one or more of the links, I may receive a small commission at no extra cost to you.
