About this deal

Keep in mind that anyone can view public collections - they may also appear in recommendations and other places. However, as the series has progressed I’ve increasingly found the stories to become far fetched and less believable.

Narrator Norman Gilligan's voice is perfect for this series, refined, understated and uniquely British. Take a spine-chilling journey along Liverpool's streets and meet Spring-Heeled Jack, that Harrington Street visions, Bernie with the broken neck, the Grey Lady of Grove Street and many other spooky characters and ghostly encounters! Welcome to Haunted Liverpool 18 - an amazing book that leaves other works on the supernatural light years behind. Unravel the mystery of the Faceless Man of Renshaw Street, and ponder upon the peculiar case of the day when the Devil walked through a snowbound Liverpool.its like an audio version of the small paperback guides and folk tales on a local area, you pickup when you visit a place. You will also find yourself holed up in the dead of night with two Liverpool security guards who find themselves under attack from a giant vampire, and you will hear the weird case of the adulterous businessman who enlisted a real magician to spirit away his wife! I just wish one of these books was narrated by a local man or woman just to be able to appreciate these tales to there full potential. None of the family thought to investigate any possible causes for the spectre, but Tom took it upon himself to try to uncover the mystery behind the spirit maid so he went to the local library and discovered that their home was actually built on the same spot where an orphanage once stood - to some this could mean that the ghosts were associated with the former orphanage.

I know of one person who knew precisely what had occurred and where(he was living there at the time in Kirkby), but the facts in the haunted liverpool book were faulty. The failed Liverpool comedian who was possessed by a long-dead occultist who read minds - even the minds of killers. The small-time criminal who fell ill in prison and woke up in a mysterious empty hospital where a terrifying fate awaited him. Tom's interest in the paranormal began in early childhood, when he lived with his family on Melville Place, near Myrtle Street in Liverpool. Every culture has believed in ghosts at one time or another: Buddha trained himself to overcome fear by sitting in a haunted cemetery.

The Cressington executive who discovered an amazing secret about his old wardrobe - and the sexual temptations that lay within it.
