I was at my last school for 4 years and we had ********* book fairs every term – and every term, I was disappointed by the narrow range of books. Their banter and intimacy toes the bromance line as most comic relationships are apt to do, but moreover it’s always great normalizing boys saying “I love you” to their friends, genuinely caring for one another’s mental health, etc.

Miles and Ganke interacting does all of the heavy lifting in this one, their scenes together being really the only enjoyable ones. Miles has to team up with some unlikely help to have any hope of defeating a supervillain who is self-proclaimed to be the smartest and wisest in the multiverse. I really like that the author is African American and my 9yo loves these books and is obsessed with Miles Morales. There was just the right amount of choice to suit everyone without being overwhelming and I received comments from parents and staff about the quality of books offered compared to previous sales which have always been based around current crazes and well known celebrity authors.

paperback books always scare me and I was nervous the quality of the paper would be left to be desired for but that's not the case with this book and the other one onto he same league.Bronnie is so lovely with the boys and we also felt that having a man enthusing about the books set a great example. Miles Morales is still getting used to being the new Spider-Man, when he is thrown into confrontation with his greatest opponent yet. You guys are such a force for good and I am a passionate supporter of Indie booksellers, so I'm so happy this worked out well (I'd love to know how many books were sold if you have it to hand - it felt like quite a lot! We didn't realise this was a sequel, and there were quite a few characters making appearances who we didn't know.
