About this deal

Note: Our refurbished grades - Pristine, Very Good and Good - are solely based on the cosmetic condition of the phone. The three CD set features dance singles from the period of 1991–2007 (despite the "2008" in the title).

The last two Anthems albums of 2010, Anthems Disco and Anthems Electronic 80s, were released only a week between each other (8 November and 15 November respectively). As with the previous volume the tracks are sequenced to reflect a typical club night and segue together with varying degrees of success. By the tracklist on the back alone, the first mix doesn't really interest me that much since I don't really know many songs on it, but my ears are open for something new. This UKG-inspired tune is something a little different from us, and we can’t wait for everyone to be able to enjoy it! Their remix of Christina Aguilera’s hit song “Ain’t No Other Man” has garnered significant attention, with support from Jamie Jones and other industry tastemakers.

The tunes don’t stop there, with more definitive tracks from Steve ‘Silk’ Hurley, Crystal Waters, MK, Barbara Tucker and Kenny Dope. Like in the UK, Ministry of Sound Australia's Anthems series started with Anthems 1991–2008, but the series in Australia is considerably smaller and less popular compared to MoSA's Sessions and Annual series. The artwork scheme follows the Fifteen Years release of 2006, which is sometimes seen as the pre-runner to Anthems 1991–2008. Sonny and Finn Murphy, the Leicester-based brothers behind Murphy’s Law, have spent over half a decade crafting an eclectic mix of House and Tech House music.

Their groove and soul-infused creations defy genre pigeonholing and have gained recognition from various artists, including Jamie Jones and Joseph Capriati. You'll only really get enjoyment out of it if you like a lot of the music involved, otherwise you're just sitting here waiting for a song that you recognise. My "Good Songs" list on these mixtapes are songs that I've heard for the first time on this album and not "this song is good but I've heard it before". To date it has sold over 3 million copies and has been the ultimate gift item for thousands of people every year. I love electronic music from all different times and I hate staying in one specific year for a prolonged amount of time; for example, to me The Annual 2000 sucked.
