Swing the blue legs on Orion Pax down, then rotate them outward so the wheels are on the left and right sides. Slide the tab on the right side into the corresponding slot on the left side at the end of the legs to keep them together. The TakaraTomy version, part of the first wave of Movie Advanced Series toys, is dubbed "Classic Optimus Prime", and opts for a deco closer to Prime's previous on-screen appearances, omitting the blue paint on his feet and hands to reveal the gray plastic underneath, and adding new paint details all over. Instead of painting it in clear light blue, his light-piping eyes are neutered with opaque light blue paint. Released as part of a Rise of the Beasts-themed batch of the Pop! Movies segment, Funko's Pop! Optimus Primal is a super deformed vinyl figure of the character roaring in gorilla mode. The TakaraTomy release replaces the dark gray plastic on the Hasbro version with lighter gray as well as adding the missing paint apps shown on the box. Some toy listings featured "Evolution" as part of the toyline's name in its first year, [8] far before the Evolution branding was officially introduced.

Armor Knight Optimus Prime is a retool of Age of Extinction: Generations Leader Class Optimus Prime. It features a new head sculpt with a rotatable faceplate (one side with the mask, the other without, the whole part rotates), along with other remolded body parts (such as his skirt, feet, and chest), giving it a more screen accurate appearance. He includes more movie-accurate weapons, featuring a new sword and shield, albeit in not-so-accurate colors (the sword's transparent orange blade was also a nod to the sword's "heat up" mode in the concept art.). He is covered in metallic paint, along with additional chrome details on his rims and bumper. Fireburst Optimus Prime is a redeco of the standard Dark of the Moon Voyager Class Optimus Prime, sporting a darker shade of blue and a "burning" color scheme that includes replacing all translucent blue parts with translucent orange. Because of this, his light-piping eyes were neutered by opaque light blue paint. GIFT TRANSFORMERS COLLECTIBLES: This G2 Universe Laser Optimus Prime action figure toy makes a great collectible figure gift for any Transformers fan The Sword of Judgement included with this toy is the same mold as the weapon included with the Age of Extinction leader class Optimus, but cast in flat grey rubbery plastic rather than the transparent plastic and paint operations of the initial release. This Optimus Prime erroneously features blue paint on his feet instead of the screen-accurate red. ICONIC MODES: The Fallen figure features classic conversion between robot and Cybertronian spacecraft modes in 17 steps. Perfect for fans looking for a more advanced converting figure. For kids and adults ages 8 and up

The first release in the Asian-exclusive Asia Premium Series toyline is an extensive redeco of the previously-Japanese exclusive Striker Optimus. He features a comprehensive paint scheme directly based on Jetpower Optimus Prime, with blue pinstriped flames, lots of silver paint, and vacuum metallized parts, although his hands are left unpainted in favor of painting his mirrors silver. Along with his standard accessories, he also comes with 2 battle blades, which were previously exclusive to Toys"R"Us Japan. He features the "We must stop the Decepticons!" voice chip, but batteries are not included. Rather helpfully, his instructions are supplemented with text instructions written in English for all the steps, as well as the additional photographs used for the previous Striker Optimus toy. Trans-scanning Optimus Prime is a Japanese-exclusive figure with many interchangeable parts. At its most basic, the figure is a spindly skeleton referred to as a " core body". To this skeleton, two sets of armor pieces can be attached to create one of two forms for Optimus Prime: his protoform mode or his Earth mode.

Like his EZ Collection Real brethren, Optimus Prime comes with two different variants: The "Real Color" features a flat shade on the plastic colors and paint, while the "Metallic Color" features metallic paint and plastic instead. It should be noted that this Optimus Prime can accommodate the Battle Blade accessories to recreate the scene of him fighting against Galvatron. In Japan, Ultimate Optimus Prime comes with a character card and an accompanying transparent plastic card of his MechTech weapon for the MechTech Wars online game. Whether by coincidence or by design, his chest can open up along with a third panel (that includes a faux grill not seen in either mode for some reason) in a manner that replicates his Matrix chamber in the 1986 movie, though no Matrix of Leadership toys can fit inside without impeding his transformation. This toy has been retroactively declared part of the Premium Series of more movie-accurate redecos of core characters from the movie.

CELEBRATE THE LEGACY: Transformers Legacy United honors 40 years of Transformers animated history! Collect other Legacy: United figures to unite your collection (each sold separately, subject to availability) Released as part of the Buzzworthy Bumblebee subline, Optimus Prime is an almost completely new figure - reusing only the windshield, wheels, and some transformation cues from SS-38 Optimus Prime. He is rather impressively made using only 4 new molds compared to the usual 9. Now based on his appearance in Rise Of The Beasts, Optimus includes a new blade and arm cannon accessory. The blade can be handheld or mounted on his wrists, and both accessories can be used on either arm. Buster Prime's paint job is deffinately better than the original release. However, I personally think that it's missing too paint details in robot mode. Leading to the robot mode looking a little too shiny and one note. It is the only version of the mold that uses chrome and has the flame pinstripes in alt-mode. The flames are personally the only thing I like about this specific release. Chromed plastic is fragile, and those alt-mode grills end up on the bottom of his feet. So you have to be very careful about how you handle and pose him. There is another release that you might want to look into. It's Movie the Best MB-11 Optimus Prime. This mold uses silver paint instead of chrome, has additional paint details in robot mode, has articulated hands, and uses the Dark of the Moon version of the mold as the base ( Meaning that he has the updated abs and has the transformable gas tank guns ). Aesthetics are always subjective, so I'll just post some comparison photos and you can make up your own mind. Starting with the trailer, swing out the silver panels on each of the lower legs and unfold them all so the panel is flat. On the front of the trailer, swing out the small blue peg. This allows you to connect the trailer to the cab.

This version of the Optimus Prime Kreon is based on the "knight armor" version of Optimus from late in the movie. That's about it. Accessories: Eliminator Gun & Assault Blaster (forms Mega Striker), shield/battle shield, two battle blades Target was one of the biggest exclusives outlets for new-deco/significantly-changed-deco toys, with the " Robo-Vision" promotion featuring heavily early on. They were also the only American store to get "Scout" class toys, although these also saw later releases as non-exclusives in other countries. The protoform mode consists of eight pieces of metallic blue plastic that plug into the arms, chest, pelvis and legs of the figure. With these pieces attached, the figure can be transform into his meteor-like "entry mode". This mode can be mounted on a three-piece stand that comes with the figure, allowing you to display it in mid-plummet.
