The new V12 Match balls get the balance right with the number of panel used in construction. Too many panels will give the ball a stable shape but this means that the amount of stitching is increased. An increase in the amount of stitching can reduce the speed of the ball. Fewer panels will make the ball more aerodynamic, but this can be at the detriment of losing shape. If you want to splash out a bit more, there’s the Delta Max, which features outer material made of a microfibre PU that is more durable and better protected against scuffs and scratches than that used on the Delta One.
