About this deal

Not so this splendid movie, which will leave audiences in a heady reverie long after its mysterious light has faded from the screen. I wanted to laugh, cry, and even relate more with the characters, but I felt that I only read about them in a story, or saw them in a film (which I did). Even though the first comet isn’t given much attention in the movie, I think it’s important to address that first comet, as I think it shares both a divine and a metaphorical connection with the future comet that will destroy Itomori.

Pioneer Films screened the film in the Philippines on December 14 and it immediately became the country's highest-grossing animated movie for the year. One of those fragments created the lake that Itomori would one day rest upon, and the other established a crater that houses the Miyamizu Shrine. In the original novel, she is described as working at the Chiba branch of an apparel manufacturer as of 2021.Mitsuha has dreams of life beyond her provincial town and wishes to be a handsome Tokyo boy, and she seems to get her wish. They get out at their next stops and try to find each other ( Nandemonaiya (Movie Version)); they finally meet at the Suga Shrine staircase but then Taki seems to have forgotten what he was doing there, walking right past Mitsuha, who shows a face of despair. That would only be important to Taki if he knew Mitsuha was from Itomori (he didn’t), and if he knew Itomori had been destroyed by the comet (he didn’t). It also received a Japanese terrestrial television premiere on January 3, 2018, via TV Asahi and the initial broadcast received a 17. Perhaps it was always known the second comet would strike, and that knowledge was passed down from generation to generation?

Although it's animated, the themes and storyline aren't going to appeal to younger audiences, who may not be ready for some of the issues related to waking up in a different body. She is part of the school's radio broadcasting club, so she is tasked by Taki and Tessie with broadcasting the false emergency evacuation alert. A light novel of the same name, also written by Shinkai, was published a month prior to the film's premiere. revolves around Mitsuha and Taki's actions, which begin to have a dramatic impact on each other's lives, weaving them into a fabric held together by fate and circumstance. At “tasogare-doki”, a time of day when different worlds blur together, Taki and Mitsuha switch back to their bodies and meet at the shrine. Taki, however, is unable to convince Mitsuha's father, now the Mayor of the town, to evacuate everyone, as he believes the idea is ridiculous.

They learn to work together to make both their lives as normal as possible and eventually, both attempt to visit one another. The film received widespread critical acclaim, with praise for its story, animation, music, visuals, and emotional weight. Mitsuha, a high school girl living in a rural town deep in the mountains, has a dream that she is a boy living an unfamiliar life in Tokyo. Love is not bound by space or time, but instead by the individuals who are inextricably connected no matter where they are.

Mitsuha Miyamizu, a high school girl living in the fictional town of Itomori in Gifu Prefecture's mountainous Hida region is fed up with her life in the countryside and wishes to be a handsome Tokyo boy in her next life. Toshiki Miyamizu ( 宮水 俊樹, Miyamizu Toshiki ) Voiced by: Masaki Terasoma [7](Japanese); Scott Williams [8] (English) The widowed father of Mitsuha and Yotsuha, and Futaba's husband.
